Omid Baharvand, born in 1989 in Iran, is a Rome-based sound and visual artist, as well as a composer of electronic and electro-acoustic music. His work transcends musical genres, incorporating elements from ambient, noise, and contemporary styles. His creative process involves conceptual studies, sound material collection, texture exploration, structural experimentation, and final production realization. Influenced by nature and human experiences, he focuses on how we perceive the world and respond to various stimuli, aiming to express these interactions through audio-visual art. He finds inspiration in multimedia projects, fostering collaboration with other artists to understand their perspectives. Baharvand holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Isfahan University and has earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in Electronic Music from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
