Omid Baharvand, born in 1989 in Iran, is a Rome-based audiovisual artist — an electronic and electro-acoustic composer, sound  and visual designer, working across sound and image as a single practice. His work transcends musical genres, incorporating elements from ambient, noise, and contemporary styles. His creative process involves conceptual studies, field recording and sound material collection, texture exploration, structural experimentation, and final production across both audio and visual media. Influenced by nature and human experience, he focuses on how we perceive the world and respond to various stimuli, aiming to express these interactions through audiovisual art. He finds inspiration in multimedia projects and fosters collaboration with other artists to understand their perspectives.

Baharvand holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Isfahan University and has earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in Electronic Music from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
